At Decolia, we want to create art that can take its place in your home for a long time – with care for both quality, people, and the environment.

Environmental consideration is therefore a natural part of how we choose materials, partners, and production methods. We strive to keep production local, choose high-quality materials, and work with suppliers who share our view of a more responsible way to produce.

Locally produced in Europe

We believe in shorter distances between production and the customer. That’s why we work with locally sourced materials and products from Sweden and the rest of Europe.

By keeping a large part of our production chain within Europe, we can work more closely with our suppliers, set clearer quality requirements, and gain better insight into how our products and materials are developed.

For us, local production isn’t just about distance. It’s also about long-term partnerships, quality, and the ability to make more thoughtful choices throughout the entire production chain.

Materials chosen with care

From paper and printing to frames and packaging, we work actively to choose materials and products with regard to both quality and the environment.

Our goal is to use environmentally adapted materials where possible, while never compromising on the feel or quality of the finished product.

High quality is also an important part of our environmental approach. We want to create products that last – art that can travel through new rooms, new homes, and new stages of life.

Smarter production

We work to produce in a way that reduces unnecessary waste and overproduction. By planning our production based on demand, we can use materials and resources more efficiently.

Our packaging is also part of the whole. We strive to use as much recyclable material as possible, while ensuring our products are well protected during transport.
